13th Annual Fall Ecotour: Craik Eco-Centre, October 2006

Environmental Educators in Saskatchewan

The focus of this year's Ecotour was to provide the Saskatchewan Environmental Educator with an opportunity to explore the many and varied resources available in this Province.

Concurrent Workshops were conducted by SOEEA members, interested individuals and a special group of committed young professionals for the University of Regina, Faculty of Education. These workshops supported the educators in the provision of suitable activities for students (of all ages) to critically engage with the environment. Examples of topics covered included: Earth Education Earth Walks; water monitoring; flora and fauna investigations; environmental issues; critical and creative thinking activities.
