Saskatchewan Outdoor & Environmental Education Assistance:
Outdoor Education Experience Grants

Saskatchewan Outdoor and Environmental Education Association has funds available to subsidize groups who are providing quality outdoor education experiences. The focus is on student groups with community partnership(s).

 
  1. One application, maximum amount of $500.00 per year per student group organization.
  2. Final Report (following completion of the experience) submitted indicating:
    • Allocation of funds (submission of original receipts).
    • 1-2 page summary providing an overview of the experience accompanied with pictures, student work, etc, which may be used by SOEEA.
    • Administer to your participants the Participants' Evaluation Follow-up Form and make a summary sheet. As well, complete the Organizer's Evaluation Follow-up Form. Both a Participants' summary and the Organizer's Follow-up Forms should be returned to the Project Administrator within 14 days of your trip.
  3. Budget outline indicating expenditures and revenues.
  4. Funding CANNOT be used for the purchase of capital equipment.
  5. Receipts of funds must recognize SOEEA and Saskatchewan Lotteries as sponsors in any publication.
  6. Application deadline dates: April 15 & October 15

After receiving the assistance: (and the trip!)

  1. Submit a report of approximately one page confirming how the funds were spent, along with student work, pictures and other items for SOEEA to use in our newsletter. Include receipts for up to $250. Send to Ed Doyle, address on application.
  2. Submit the completed Organizer's Program Evaluation form (mailing address below) and at least 2 Participant Evaluation forms to Project Administrator (address below).
  3. SOEEA and SaskLotteries must be thanked in a school or community newsletter. The Treasurer will provide logos when your cheque is sent. A copy of this newsletter should accompany your report. *Remember ! Completing these requirements after your trip will ensure that your school or organization is eligible for future grants!
