EcoTour

The province of Saskatchewan encompasses four ecozones and eleven ecoregions. SOEEA regularly organizes annual ecotours to experience the diverse habitats that make up this province. In recent years, tours have taken us from the boreal forest of the Boreal Plain ecozone to the Great Sand Hills of the Prairie Ecozone.

This year we will be exploring the Grasslands National Parks and Cypress Hills in conjunction with hosting
the 2011 EECOM Conference.

Future plans are to include an excursion to Lake Athabasca, situated between the Taiga Shield ecozone and the Boreal Shield ecozone.

SOEEA practices and promotes Leave No Trace philosophies to enable enjoyment of our natural environment for generations to come.

SOEEA ecotours are family friendly, with age of participants ranging from
children to seniors.
